Event Manager

Johanna joined us at the beginning of May 2025, coming from a background in event catering, hotels and corporate events having previously worked at the Harbour hotel in Bristol. She has visited many weddings and events venues across the south west when working for a Bristol events catering company.

She grew up on the island of Hammarö, in Sweden, moved to the UK with a friend when she was 23 and has now settled in Bristol with her partner and gorgeous cat called Severus.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
  Whenever my partner and I have a day off together, we love going on little adventures - usually exploring new spots around the South West. Whether it’s a hidden beach, a country walk, or a quaint village café, we’re always on the lookout for our next mini day trip (and sometimes we venture a bit further too!).

Fun fact about you:
  I’m slightly obsessed with houseplants, I have around 45 of them scattered all over the house! It’s like a little indoor jungle, and I absolutely love it.

What’s at the top of your bucket list?
  Travelling around Europe by train has always been a dream of mine! I’d love to explore different cities, visit museums, take in all the incredible views and history—and, of course, eat my way through every local cuisine I can find!

What’s your favourite thing about your job?
  I love being the first person to congratulate the couple as they walk back down the aisle. It’s such a special moment - any nerves have melted away, and you can see pure joy as they share their first moments as newlyweds.

Top tip:
  I’m a big believer in “less is more” - keeping things simple can be so effective. That said, I also think you can never have too many candles!
