We got married in early March 2024 at the very beautiful Tythe Barn in Priston Mill and it was everything we’d hoped for and more!
Katie and the team were incredible in helping us set up and made sure everything ran smoothly on our day, there wasn’t one time where we worried about organisation of the day at all. We were very much in good hands with Katie and cannot thank her and the hospitality team enough for all of their hard work to make our day as special as possible for us.
The food was incredible and we had so many compliments on this from our guests too. There isn’t anything I’d change about our day and we’d choose Priston Mill again every single time if we could do it again (which we sooo wish we could)! The best day EVER🤍

This week has flown by and we're still totally dazed from the wedding, but I wanted to hopefully catch you before you go off for yours to say a huge thank you to you and everyone at Priston for giving us just the best day ever.
We all had such a brilliant time, we've spent this whole week reflecting with friends and family and everyone is still on such a high from the day. So many people have sent us messages complimenting Priston as a beautiful venue, but also commenting on how lovely all the staff were and how delicious and plentiful the food was. Please pass on our huge thanks to all the wait and kitchen staff for all their hard work, it was very much appreciated.
As I mentioned on the day, you have been a pillar of calm in all the planning, and every interaction we had with you over the months left us feeling reassured and so much more relaxed than we had been going into it! As you have probably gathered by now, we aren't the most laid back family (!) so to have you there as an antidote to our anxiety has been invaluable, not to mention all your hard work on the day itself. You are such a joy to work with, I don't know how you do it, but you really are perfect for this job! Please also pass on our thanks to the lovely lady who took over after you left - I'm so sorry, in all the excitement we didn't catch her name!
We honestly can't thank you enough - the clichés are all true, it really was the happiest day of our lives. Our only regret is not making it longer - everyone has said they want to go back and do it all again already!

Phil and I just wanted to send the biggest thank you for managing our wedding day and all of the work that went into planning and preparing in advance. Choosing Priston Mill was the best decision we could have made, from the very start of the wedding planning process, everything felt so easy and we knew we were in good hands. We were so impressed with your organisation and always replying to our emails promptly and warmly. No question seemed silly and no request felt too big. The whole experience felt so personal and we felt like you really listened and took on board our vision for the day. We wanted to particularly thank you for managing the choir and helping make sure that all ran smoothly. And for bringing out the cake for phil’s grandparents anniversary. We felt the whole day couldn’t have ran more smoothly and you were so organised throughout but also allowed for change where needed (who saw the egg and spoon race coming?! 😆)
Everyone commented on how wonderful the venue was, how smoothly the wedding transitioned from day to evening and also how incredible all the food was.
We couldn’t be happier, everything was better than we could’ve imagined - we just wish it hadn’t gone so quickly!

We are not long back from our mini moon and so wanted to say a huge thank you to the whole team at Priston Mill for coordinating our wedding, right from the initial plans, through to perfect organisation on the day. A special thanks to you and to Chris for making it such a wonderful, special event and very easy to plan (all down to you)!!
We had a fantastic day and wanted to share a couple of photos with you in case you wanted to use them on your socials. We don’t have many back from our photographer just yet.
The food all went down an absolute treat, and despite ordering an excess of cheese (which we are also well known for outside of our wedding day!) and having lots left over on the day, I can confirm not a single slice was wasted as we handed it out to family and friends the following day and even took some away with us on holiday!

I can’t recommend Priston Mill highly enough. We got married there last Friday and, from the moment we booked, they were attentive, knowledgable, friendly and helpful. We visited multiple times before the wedding and our planning meeting with Chris was exceptional. He understood exactly what we wanted and was able to direct and support us to make this vision come true. We were then linked with Shannon who was to be our wedding coordinator on the day. Shannon answered every question we had and ensured that we knew exactly what happen and how everything would work. She helped to set everything up for us and constantly put our vision as priority. The day was absolutely incredible- Despite being winter, Priston Mill was absolutely beautiful! The service was incredible from all members of staff who were attentive, efficient and professional. The food was outstanding and people have been commenting on the incredible beef and evening tacos all week! Shannon herself was the very highlight of our experience with Priston Mill - her thoughtfulness, dedication and unfailing customer service made the entire day run smoothly! She really was exceptional and we can’t thank her enough for our day! We were never without a drink and the staff at Priston ensured that we were remembering to eat (not just socialising!) and that we were entirely happy with how things were going. Shannon removed all potential stress and allowed us to fully enjoy the day. All in all, Priston Mill was absolutely amazing and we would highly recommend it as a wedding venue! I write this review for anyone who is looking for their wedding venue. YOU MUST GET MARRIED HERE.
I am a proud newlywed thanks to the amazing team at Priston Mill. I was fortunate enough to get married in the stunning Tythe Barn, which even prior to putting your own stamp on it - is already insanely beautiful. The venue is big enough to cater for a large gathering yet provides that heart-warming, intimate vibe all brides are after.
From the initial visit to the endless emails, the planning meeting, more emails and correspondence to the day itself - nothing has EVER been too difficult. I was lucky enough to have Katherine on the lead up to the wedding and then Clara run the day, again a seamless transition which is testament to them both.
I have nothing but praise and love for our wedding day - one quote from a guest that stands out is that it wasn't just a wedding, it was an experience. The running of the day was faultless. If you are blessed to have Clara as your event manager, then you are in very safe hands. This is a venue that KNOW what they are doing, and they do it very, very well.
The band I had booked cancelled on us on the day of our wedding, I found this out 3.5 hours before they were due to arrive. Whilst they arranged another band, it was down to Priston Mill to orchestrate and co-ordinate their arrival, whilst still tending to our guests and the day itself - they did this all behind the scenes... if it wasn't for me telling my friends and family, nobody would have known. Incredible.
The food was bloody delicious. Nobody went hungry that's for sure! The lamb bonbons were out of this world, and the cheesecake pudding! Clean plates all round. The bar prices were soooooooo reasonable too. All the staff were friendly and clearly proud to work there, interacting with the guests. You pair the little things with the big parts of the day, and that's what separates Priston Mill from the rest.
Yes, there are other venues, but I guarantee you will not get the same level of sincerity and professionalism. I want to do it all again!
I will forever be grateful to Priston Mill for giving me my best day ever - particularly to Clara who is an absolute gem of a human being. Thank you thank you thank you. I will be back to show you all of our photos when we get them :) X

We had the best day celebrating our wedding at Priston! We’d recommend this venue to anyone for so many reasons, firstly we got married in the Tythe Barn and it was stunning, secondly value is unmatched and amongst many many other reasons the team were brilliant.
We had Georgia look after us and our day could not have gone any smoother, they really do know their stuff and you’re in safe hands. Georgia made sure me and my husband had time for each other throughout the day and helped from organising the kids, to readjusting my veil and even helping the groomsmen with their button holes!

I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you and the rest of the Priston Mill staff for the best day last Saturday. Everything was perfect and the whole day ran seamlessly (although we’re sure that so much work goes into making it that way).
From the moment Paul arrived thorough to the wedding breakfast and the evening party we felt completely looked after. The food and service was amazing throughout and the pies on the evening went down particularly well. We honestly couldn’t fault the day and we had so many comments from our family and guests about how incredible the venue and staff were.
We wish we could re-live our wedding as it was truly the best day of our lives and that is in no small part down to you and the Priston Mill staff. If we had to do it all over again we wouldn’t change a thing and would pick Priston Mill all over again!

Imogen & Charlie - 18th December 2021 - The Tythe Barn
We had our wedding the the Watermill at Priston Mill this year and it is just the most perfect venue! The staff are amazing, Chris was our main POC and was there all day for the wedding making sure everything went smoothly. He was just on top of everything and even our guests commented on how helpful he was, as were the rest of the staff who's names I don't know - special thanks to the waiter who kept aside a tray of the canapes for myself and the groom to munch on once we had a break in photos.
Everyone commented on how amazing the food was and it honestly was so delicious I wish they would do a pop up restaurant so we could have it again! Even the vegan aubergine item we chose was adored by meat eaters and vegans alike, and my sister claims to have dreams about the potatoes.
On top of all that, the venue itself is just perfect and stunning. We were blessed with incredible weather but even if we had been inside there are so many little nooks and different places to chill out. And lots of great opportunities for beautiful photos. They have a great list of recommended vendors who were great too.
It really is just a perfect venue that offers everything you could want and more. (If you do get married here I'd also recommend Bath Mill lodges for accommodation, they were fab too). In summary, so so pleased we had our wedding here.

Dear Chris, what a mad few days, but we are on our first day of honeymoon and starting to relax so we are taking this moment to thank you!!
You were out of this world on our wedding day!! Well actually it’s been really smooth throughout! Your chilled approach to everything didn’t get un-noticed by everyone! I felt so calm because I just knew it was all being taken care of and you would do us proud! I can honestly say I have never been to a wedding where everything went as smooth as ours did, yes we had good weather & yes it’s a beautiful venue so that helps but it’s the little things like you just floating around not being intrusive and keeping everything going without us even noticing!
The next morning when we collected everything it was so respectfully packed away and we appreciate the long hours you put in!
All the staff were friendly and professional, the guests loved the food!!
So basically thankyou!! You smashed it and the wedding was literally everything and more

Dear Georgia,
It's been just over three months since our big day and I have been meaning to email you a much bigger 'Thank You' than the one I gave you the day after our wedding - when we were both feeling exhausted yet completely blissful in our newlywed bubble.
I'm sorry it's taken so long to get in touch properly.
Ben and I just wanted to say an enormous thank you for making every aspect of our day amazing. You were professional, friendly, made us both feel so calm (even in the most nerve-wracking of moments) and you went above and beyond to help us enjoy our day with no stress whatsoever.
From looking after our glasses of Pimms when we were swept off for couple photos, to helping with storing all my bits and bobs throughout the day and even taking the time out to check in on us both and make sure that we took some moments to ourselves to look at all our decoration and make sure we soaked up every second.
We're so glad we had you there looking after us on our special day and it goes without saying that several of our guests have since commented on just how lovely and helpful you were all day long.
With regards to Priston Mill as a venue and a team - the food and bar/waiting staff were exceptional. Our guests haven't stopped raving about how delicious the meal was (some even calling it the best three-course meal they've ever eaten) and how beautiful the venue and the grounds are.
So thank you Georgia and team for all your hard work way back on 24th July. We hope we get the chance to come back soon - we miss Priston Mill already!

Bella and I had our wedding at Priston Mill this Saturday just gone. We’d really like to express our sincere gratitude to all of the staff there and to everyone involved. From the bar staff to the kitchen. And everybody in between. The day was absolutely flawless. The weather was beautiful, everything ran smoothly and to schedule. The staff were very helpful throughout the whole day and night. The food was excellent. The wine was lovely. It was just a perfect day. We had many guests complementing how beautiful everything was and what a stunning venue it was. We looked at many different wedding venues in Bath before deciding to go with Priston Mill and based on how well everything went, we were both so happy and it confirmed with us that we had 100% chosen the right venue. We would be very happy to recommend Priston Mill to anyone. Last but not least, I would like to say a very big thank you to Jake. He was just excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and he made sure everything ran smoothly. He really is a credit to Priston Mill and I am very thankful that he was involved in our big day.

Dear Olly, Jake, Paul, catering and waiting staff and all the team, We just wanted to say a very overdue THANK YOU for all your help and hard work that helped to make our wedding day (5 months ago yesterday) so amazing! We loved every minute of it and are so grateful to you all. At every stage before and during the day your attentiveness to detail, calmness, kindness, knowledge and experience was second to none - thank you. We have spent much of our married life, so far, in a number of different places busily sorting out all sorts of things but are now coming into land in Bath! The other evening we walked through the fields near Priston Mill and saw the Mill in the distance. It was a beautiful summer's evening and a celebration was in full swing. It was a lovely sight, we stood together reminisced and gave thanks and prayed for you all and those celebrating that evening 🙂. One of the many things that blessed us on the day was the joy, warmth and helpfulness of the waiting staff. Many of our guests commented on this too along with how delicious the food was as well as the amazing cheese. One of our friends sent us a video of our first dance and we smile each time we watch it as we can see a couple of waitresses dancing on the mezzanine, entering in to the spirit of the evening - delightful!
