Priston Mill is an idyllic location for weddings, blessings and civil ceremonies near Bath or Bristol. There are a number of unique locations in which you can hold a wedding ceremony or blessing at Priston Mill, both inside and outside, and one married, you can start celebrating in style with reception drinks and a selection of tasty bites.
Our magnificent stone-walled Tythe Barn is licensed for up to 150 guests. The aisle is particularly long in this venue which, with accompanying music, makes a wonderfully striking entrance for a bride or a groom.
The Watermill is perfect for a more intimate wedding and is licensed for up to 90. The ceremony is held on the second floor which, with its distinct features from bygone years and wonderful views across the millpond, gives a memorable and special start to your wedding day. On fine days the oak pagoda in the Watermill garden offers another alternative setting for a more relaxed outdoor ceremony – for up to 90.
If you are hoping for a church wedding and are unable to hold it in your own parish, you may wish to consider the beautiful country church of St Luke’s and St Andrews in Priston village. The Reverend Martin Blewett would be happy to discuss this possibility with you at either St Luke and St Andrew’s, Priston (maximum numbers 120) or at St Mary’s Church at Timsbury, just three-and-a-half miles from Priston Mill.
Whether you have a wedding for 50 or 150 you will be able to relax and celebrate, knowing that with our enthusiasm and attention to detail, your day will be exceptional in every way.
