Cradled in a hidden Somerset valley, just outside Bath and Bristol, Priston Mill has been a memorable setting for weddings and special events since 1992 when the transition from a family run farming business to a unique countryside wedding venue began.
The gardens and ancient buildings have such a dream-like quality that it is hard to imagine they haven't existed like this forever; but the magnificent stone-walled barn belonged originally to the monastic estate run by the monks of Bath Abbey, who were also gifted the Watermill by King Athelstan in the 10th century.
The ancient Watermill and Tythe Barn at Priston Mill are two idyllic wedding venues near Bath, for receptions and civil ceremonies. Both have retained their elegant, historic character and yet are furnished in a luxurious contemporary style.
The distinctive and attractive gardens come to life in all seasons and they are yours to enjoy, whether you are walking through the first blossoms of spring or crunching through a carpet of autumnal leaves, each season brings with it its own colours and character.

Our experienced and talented team of Chefs have spent a lot of time carefully creating some delicious wedding menus for you to choose from. These include everything from delicious canapés to start your celebrations on the perfect note, to our incredibly popular wedding breakfast menus where there is plenty of choice - we feel sure that all expectations will be exceeded!
To Banquet is hugely popular - it's a feast brought to your table presented on platters and boards bringing immense variety, colour and ideal to share! For something more traditional you could go for a set menu from our To Dine or To Entertain wedding menus.
We love talking about food and wine and so if you need a little bit of help or guidance we would be more than happy to help. We also relish the challenge of creating a bespoke menu if you have something in mind.
All wedding bookings taken at Priston Mill, near Bath and Bristol, should include a main menu as featured in the brochure and there is a minimum number of 60 adults in the Watermill and 80 adults in the Tythe Barn.
Prices include vat. Food and drink prices are subject to review annually.
