Wedding Ceremonies

At Priston Mill, to suit a range of styles and different numbers, we have a choice of settings for wedding ceremonies.

In the magnificent stone-walled Tythe Barn the civil ceremony license is for up to 150 guests. The aisle is particularly long in this venue which, with accompanying music, makes a particularly striking entrance for a bride.

The Watermill is perfect for a more intimate wedding ceremony and is licensed for up to 90. The ceremony is held on the main floor which, with its unique and distinct features from bygone years and views across the millpond, gives it a most memorable and unique start to your wedding day. On fine days the oak pagoda in the beautiful Watermill garden offers another alternative setting for a more relaxed outdoor ceremony – for up to 90.

If you are hoping for a church wedding, and for various reasons are unable to hold it within your own parish, you may wish to consider the beautiful country church of St Luke’s and St Andrews in Priston. Reverend Martin Blewett would be happy to discuss this possibility with you at either St Luke and St Andrew’s Priston (maximum numbers 120) or at  St Mary’s Church at Timsbury (3½  miles from Priston Mill).
